CONSTRUCTION:
1. Electric conductor – copper single or multiwire, round or sectoral shape, according to 1 or 2 grade, GOST 22483.
2. Insulation from low fire hazard polyvinylchloride compound for cables in “XL” application from low fire hazard PVC compound with low glass transition temperature.
3. Inner sheath from low fire hazard polyvinylchloride compound, for cables in “XL” application from low fire hazard PVC compound with low glass transition temperature. Inner sheath laid with spaces filling between insulated conductors.
4. Armour protection from two steel galvanized bands.
5. Protective hose from low fire hazard polyvinylchloride compound, for cables in “XL” application from low fire hazard PVC compound with low glass transition temperature, for cables with “m” index – protective hose, resistant to lubricants and diesel fuel, cables with “UF” index – protective hose ultraviolet resistant.

Power cables with copper conductors have insulation and protective hose from flame-retardant low smoke and gas emissions PVC compound, armoured, as well as cold-resistant, lubricants diesel fuel and UV resistant grades VBSHvng(A)-LS-XL, VBSHvng(A)-LS-XLm(UF), VBSHvng(A)-LSm(UF) used for transmission and distribution of electric energy in stationary units at nominal alternating voltage 0,66 and 1 kV, nominal frequency 50 Hz or at direct voltage up to 1 and 1,5 kV.
Electric networks with ground or insulated neutral in which operating time of single-phase short circuit to ground not exceed 8 hours, overall operating time of single-phase short circuit to ground not exceed 125 hours per year. It`s allowed to lay cables in ground (trenches).
Cables can be laid without limitation of level differences on the routing, including vertical areas. Maximum network voltage for operating cables Um equals to 1,2U.
Cables could be used for direct voltage electric networks, not exceeding 2,4U0.
Cables used for bunched laying including hot loading volume in cable structures and outer (open) electric units, in case of mechanical damages and absence of tension force during operating procedures.
Fire hazard grade acc.to GOST 31565: P1b.8.2.2.2.

Type of climatic category acc. to GOST 15150: UXL and XL, placement category 1-5.
Cables are flame retardant at bunched laying.
Smoke emission at burning and smouldering of cables not decrease light transmission in test chamber more than 50%.
Value of equivalent toxicity index of burning cables not more 40 g/m3
Range of operating temperatures: from -500C up to +500C, for cables in “XL” application from -600C up to +500C.
Relative atmosphere humidity at temperature up to +350C: up to 98% Cable laying and assembly without preheating at temperature not less: -25 0C.
Admissible force at cable tension on the tray should not exceed 50 N/mm2
Cable conductor continuous heating temperature at work: +700C.
Maximum allowable temperature of conductors heating at short current circuits: +1600C Short circuit duration should not exceed 5 sec.
Admissible heating of cable conductors in emergency state: not more +900C.
Operating period of cables in overload period should not exceed 8 hours per day and not more 1000 hours per life period. Maximum temperature of electric cable conductors without fire outbreak at short circuit – not more 3500C.
Minimum bending radius at laying not less:
- For single wires 10 diameters of cable
- For bending wires 7,5 diameters of cable
Life period: 30 years, according to stated transportation, storage, laying (assembly) and operation terms.
Guaranteed operating period: 5 years from the date of putting cable into operation, but not later 6 months from the production date.
